Lindsay Lohan: Charged With FOUR Crimes on Two Coasts, Rejected By Max George!

Lindsay Lohan may have just set the new high water mark for celebrity wrecks. She's been hit with FOUR criminal charges on the same day - on different coasts!

Police in New York City arrested Lindsay Lohan yesterday morning for punching a woman in the face. Amazingly, this may be the least of her problems.

The Santa Monica City Attorney's Office will charge the celebrity with three crimes in connection with her car accident last June on Pacific Coast Highway:

1. Giving false information to a peace officer (carrying a sentence of up to 6 months in jail)
2. Obstructing / resisting a police officer in the performance of his duty (up to a year in jail)
3. Reckless driving (up to 90 days in jail)

After ramming her Porsche into a big rig, the star lied to cops, telling them she was the passenger in the car when in fact she was the driver.
As a result of those three charges, the judge will likely revoke her probation any day now - for stealing jewelry - and set a hearing to determine her punishment.
  If she's formally charged for the fight, her probation could also be revoked in a big way.

Katy Perry has inked a deal to produce her own line of signature scents.

French perfume giant Coty Inc. will distribute the cutie's creations on a broader scale than her previous perfumes, Purr and Meow, which are apparently actual things.

"Coty has become my partner," the 28-year-old singer told Billboard.
"We are working on the next fragrance, which is almost finished."

By the time you're older and wise enough to want more than pretty lips and smooth words in a spouse, the dating pool has shrunk so much you fear that love might have passed you by in the haze of self-centered youthful exuberance.

And just when you pass your exams and receive admission into the Ivy leagues of medical schools, you stumble on your hidden talent and passion for fashion.

Ha ha ha. The joke is on us.

Have you noticed how we have to make the most crucial decisions of our lives during the most inexperienced years of our existence?

To think that I have to sow the seeds that I will reap during the rest of my life during the years when I have the least amount of experience and wisdom to do so!

By the time I'm 40, 50, the fruit of those seeds slowly begin to ripen. The previous 2 decades of work (or sloth) begin to show their results. Joy - if that fruit is sweet and juicy. If it's not? Pain and regret!

So I have come to the scary conclusion that I am clueless. I would be a fool to dive into this life pretending like I know what I'm doing. Pretending like I have the know-how, wisdom and knowledge to make generation shaping decisions. Decisions that are seemingly inconsequentially mine to make, yet they ripple down my bloodline long after my 80 - 90 years on earth.

God has a fantastic sense of humour (and infinite wisdom). Woe unto me if I dive into the beautiful adventure of life without basking in his ways, his word and his wisdom.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry Reach Legal Settlement

One week after their relationship hit rock bottom, Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have reportedly agreed to a legal truce.

Details of the accord are scarce, but Aubry showed up in court yesterday (Berry and fiancé Olivier Martinez were absent), with his attorney and Berry's attorney releasing a joint statement that simply reads:
"The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter."

At immediate issue had been the protective order against Aubry granted to Berry on Thanksgiving, hours after Gabriel and Martinez brawled on her property and the latter was arrested for battery.
It was scheduled to expire today.
Aubry, meanwhile, had also been provided with a temporary restraining order against Martinez. He alleges that the actor started the fisticuffs and threatened his life - but the official police report points the finger of blame for the fight directly at Aubry.

General Buhari loses first daughter

The first daughter of former Head of State and national leader of Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) Gen. Muhammad Buhari (rtd), has died.

Zulai Buhari died yesterday evening in a hospital in Kaduna just two days after giving birth to a daughter. She was 40. She is survived by her husband, Captain Mahmud Junaid and three children, including the new born baby who is said to be healthy and doing well.

May her soul rest in peace.
