Kourtney Kardashian: Essentially a Single Mother?

"Scott Disick is an irresponsible jerk who is leaving Kourtney Kardashian at home to raise the couple's children.So screams yet another recycled tabloid headline, as this week's Life & Style quotes an anonymous source who claims Disick "doesn't share" Kourtney's "love for being a parent."

Staying out until the dawn, taking shots, cracking sexual jokes, "Scott's totally out of control," the magazine mole says. "He's doing whatever he wants to do."

Kardashian and Disick welcomed Penelope Scotland Disick into the world on July 9 and even with her and little Mason Dash at home, the source says Scott continues to live a bachelor lifestyle.

"He's definitely back to his old ways," reports the tabloid, adding that "Kourtney's looking into getting a nanny" and even considering a job at a Los Angeles Dash branch so she can support herself financially.

Jessica Sanchez Dating DeAndre Brackensick

Jessica Sanchez took part in an Internet U Stream chat yesterday and while the American Idol runner-up touched on various aspects of that show and her career, it was a personal revelation that has fans buzzing today:
The singer is dating DeAndre Brackensick!

“I got a secret and I want you guys to guess. I’ll nod if it’s no or yes,” Sanchez told fans during the interview.

After one asked if she had a boyfriend, Jessica answered in the affirmative, referred to Deandre by name and replied: “Hahah. He’s my boyfriend. Love you guys. Byeeee!”

The new couple is performing all summer long, alongside eight other Season 11 finalists, on the American Idol tour.

The Dark Knight Rises Shooting: Update

Warner Bros. has canceled a red carpet premiere event scheduled for Paris later today and released the following statement:

"Warner Bros. is deeply saddened to learn about this shocking incident. We extend our sincere sympathies to the families and loved ones of the victims at this tragic time.".

The NYPD has also released a statement in anticipation of screenings of The Dark Knight Rises across the Big Apple today. It reads:

"As a precaution against copycats and to raise the comfort levels among movie patrons in the wake of the horrendous shooting in Colorado, the New York City Police Department is providing coverage at theaters where the 'The Dark Knight Rises' is playing in the five boroughs."

As previously reported, a 24-year old names James Holmes is in custody and suspected of opening fire on a theater full of attendees after initially setting off a smoke bomb. At least 12 people are considered dead and 50 wounded.

Shooting at Dark Knight Rises Premiere in Colorado:12 Dead, James Holmes in Custody

Tragedy struck the town of Aurora, Colorado early this morning, as a gunman opened fire at a movie theater during a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises, 12 people are confirmed dead and 50 wounded as a result of the incident.
According to various witness accounts and police reports, the suspect tossed some kind of smoke bomb into the theater and opened fire in front of the screen. He was reportedly wearing a gas mask and a bullet proof vest and carrying at least a rifle and a handgun.
The unidentified, alleged murderer is in his early 20s, a police spokesman says, and did not put up a fight when apprehended.
“We will do everything that we can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time. As we do when confronted by moments of darkness and challenge, we must now come together as one American family,” said President Obama in a statement, adding: “All of us must have the people of Aurora in our thoughts and prayers as they confront the loss of family, friends, and neighbors, and we must stand together with them in the challenging hours and days to come,” said Obama, promising he would do everything in his power to bring those responsible to justice.
“We are committed to bringing whoever was responsible to justice, ensuring the safety of our people, and caring for those who have been wounded."
The suspect has been identified as a 24-year old named James Holmes.
