Neil Armstrong (First Man On Moon) Dies At 82

Neil Armstrong became a global hero on  July 20, 1969 as the first man to set foot on the moon.

Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin spent nearly three hours walking on the lunar surface, collecting samples, conducting experiments and taking photos.
"The sights were simply magnificent, beyond any visual experience that I had ever been exposed to," Armstrong said in an interview years later.
Armstrong died following complications resulting from cardiovascular procedures, a statement from his family said. It didn't say where or when.
