How Channels TV Presenter Joe Ighile Died Yesterday While Presenting A LIVE Programme

Death came calling unexpectedly last night for the Head of Sports Channels Television Joe Ighile when he died while presenting the 9’0clock Sports programme live.

Joe,who introduced the programme,on suspecting some discomfort, asked for a break on television and requested to be taken to the hospital immediately.
Few minutes after getting to the hospital ,he was pronounced dead.
He attended Bendel Sate Univesity University, now Edo State University Ekpoma. He studied English and Literature.
During his National Youth Service Corp period in Makurdi, Benue state, Joseph received the Chairman’s award at the end of his service year owing to his outstanding contributions to the Orientation Broadcasting Service (OBS) and also as a corps liaison officer at the NYSC secretariat.
Ighile’s began his career in media from the Edo Broadcasting Service (EBS) as a content staff where he was involved in youth programmes in the early 80’s.
His versatility earned him a job with disc engineering Ikeja, Lagos where he was made the manager of broadcast in-charge of local contents before he joined Channels Television in 2003 as a reporter/producer.
He is currently the head of sports desk in-charge of all the sports programmes.
The widely travelled senior sports reporter/presenter is a winner of multiple awards and a member of the Nigeria Football Federation media and publicity committee as well as Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN)
He was married and blessed with two beautiful children

Yet the R&B stars may have been the night's top story.
The singers spent the entire night cozying up to each other in the audience, as CBS cameras frequently went to the controversial couple for reaction shots.
It was a very public display of affection and a signal to the world that Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together, no matter what you might think of it.
As expected, viewer reactions were mixed, and heated.
On the eve of the '09 Grammys, Brown shocked the industry and world when he assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna, whose bruised face became a tabloid fixture.
Four years is a long time, but it was still amazing to see Rihanna, decked out in a red dress and smiling ear to ear, photographed leaning her head on Brown.
All night long. Think she's trying to make a point or something?
This actually wasn't their most shocking appearance in tandem this month. Rihanna stuck by her man and showed up in court with him last week.
Brown is accused of violating his probation by submitting false community service records ... in connection with his sentence for assaulting Rihanna.

Pope Benedict XVI made a shocking announcement during a meeting of Vatican cardinals today:

He will become the first pontiff in 600 years to resign his post later this month, citing health concerns as the basis for a decision that will officially take place on February 28.
According to The Associated Press, the 85-year old believes that his advanced age and diminishing strength make it difficult to fulfill the job.
"Strength of mind and body are necessary, strength which in the last few months has deteriorated in me to the extent that I have had to recognize my incapacity to adequately fulfill the ministry entrusted to me," the pope told the cardinals, according to the Vatican.
The last pope to resign was Gregory XII in 1415. He took that step to end a civil war within the church in which multiple men claimed to be hold the position.
Benedict's reign as pope has been marred by a slew of scandals and controversies, including numerous allegations of sexual abuse by priests. He also joined Twitter in December.
